Alison Bridals size chart may differ from street clothing sizes, so do not be alarmed if you fall into other size.
To ensure that the dress is going to fit you perfectly, we advise you get the help of a family or friend and measure everything 2-3 times to be certain.
If you are between sizes, it is suggested to go with a larger size and have the dress tailored.
A general rule of thumb is that a dress can be tailored 2 sizes down if necessary.
Choose your size carefully as you may not have time to order another gown or additional fabric when it is too small. Most gowns will require custom settings once it is received, but it is easy to make it with a local seamstress.
We also advise to use closing tape measure, not metallic.
Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your bust. The tape should be straight and parallel with the floor.
Waist: Bend to one side to find the cease, that’s your natural waist. Pull tape across the narrowest part, keep the tape slightly loose to allow for breathing room.
Hips: Stand straight and measure the widest part of the hips.
Please allow ±0,5”-1” difference for actual wedding dress size.
